QuizFortune.com is an international website based in the UK open to players from many international markets.
How do I get started?
Access to any QuizFortune free play quizzes are available to everyone. If, however, you want receive correct answers, compete in tournaments for prizes and/or share your scores across social networks you must register with QuizFortune.
What is QuizFortune about?
QuizFortune is a new experience in online quizzing where you can win money by participating in tournaments. We provide professionally written quizzes on a vast variety of topics across a multitude of gaming formats. With sharing capabilities across social networks, QuizFortune allows you to directly compete with your friends and fellow quizzers on your favourite subjects. We also provide tournament play where you choose which game to play and then participate in tournaments where you compete against other QuizFortune players to win real money.

Free to Play games are open to old and new players to help you understand how the QuizFortune tournament system works. You will be able to try out our games and understand the mechanics of cash based skill quizzing. You can also use them to get better at your favourite games and topics before becoming a tournament player. Only registered members can participate in tournaments and all players are considered to have the same skill level.

How do I play the quizzes?
Instructions are provided alongside each quiz and also in the ‘How to Play’ tab situated directly below the quiz.
What are quiz tournaments?
Quiz tournaments provide QuizFortune members with the opportunity to compete in a specific quiz for a prize fund. In order to take part in these tournaments you must register with QuizFortune. A tournament on a selected quiz will be promoted on QuizFortune.com, detailing the fee, prize fund and the length of the tournament. All registered members are entitled to take part in these tournaments.
How do the tournaments work?
The tournaments can be based on any subject or topic within any of the game formats. The results of the tournament are determined by the number of questions answered correctly and the time in which they are answered. The results are, therefore, directly based on the competitor’s knowledge.
You will not be provided with the answers until the tournament has ended.
Spaces within the tournaments are not limited and you can enter as many times as you like but it will be your highest score that will be accounted for.
The time needed until a Cash tournament closes varies from game to game and with the size and entry cost of the tournament.
The size of the entry cost in a Cash tournament will vary from tournament to tournament. Use the tournament listing for each game to select a tournament that matches your preferences. We require that there are at least 2 different players in a specific tournament, so that you will always face another player and not just compete against yourself. You can join the same tournament more than one time if you wish if it has more than 2 slots, but only your highest score will count.
Your entry cost for a Cash tournament comprises of two elements; Firstly, approximately 70% of the entry cost is your stake for that particular tournament. Secondly, the remaining 30% of the entry cost comprises our fees for providing the facilities for playing the game. We charge this fee to be able to guarantee you the best possible quality and game experience.

Where do I find the results of the tournaments?
In the "My Account" section you can find detailed information about all the tournaments you have competed in. Tournaments where the winners have not been decided yet are listed under the "Open tournaments" section. Use this to check out the current tournament standing.
In "Completed tournaments" you can find all tournaments you have participated in that have closed and see who the winners were. Tournament prizes are automatically credited to the players' account few minutes after a tournament has completed.
What do I have to do to claim my prize money?
You do not have to do anything. When you win a tournament, the designated prize amount is automatically deposited into your PayPal account. Your individual account status is available at any time by clicking the "My Account" link, which is located on every page.
When and how do I receive my prize fund?
QuizFortune will post your prize winnings to your account within 15 minutes after it has completed. Note that Progressive Jackpot tournaments will allow players to join until the last closing second, so the tournament might not close until 15 minutes after tournament's announced closing time.
My tournament was interrupted. Can I get my money back?

How are the prizes calculated?
The prize displayed shows the total prize that will divided amongst all the winners of that tournament.
QuizFortune allows you to play games free of charge, but for real Money tournaments QuizFortune charges a management fee which comprises of approximately 30% of the entry costs. We do this to be able to guarantee you the best possible quality and game experience.

What are open and closed tournaments?
When you look at your account pages in the "My account" section you will find a list of your "Open" and "Completed" tournaments. An open tournament a Progressive Jackpot tournament that has not reached closing time. Therefore the final winners have not been decided yet and prizes have still not been given out. You can view the current tournaments standings to see how you place in the tournament, and also choose to enter an additional time if this is possible.
For a completed tournament the winners have been declared and the prizes are displayed in the tournament results. The winners will usually receive the cash prizes on their account within a few minutes after the tournament has closed.
What makes the tournaments fair?
QuizFortune aims to make their tournaments as fun and as fair possible. In order to achieve this, QuizFortune can guarantee that the same quiz will be provided to each competitor within a given tournament. That is, all players will receive the same questions. The results of the tournament are determined by the number of questions answered correctly and the time in which they are answered. This means that the winner will have answered the most questions correctly and in the fastest time. There is, therefore, no chance involved and the results are directly related to the individual’s knowledge of the given subject.
Am I competing against real players?
Yes. QuizFortune guarantees that all the players you face in the tournaments are real.
How do I know the posted scores are real and not faked?
QuizFortune has a number of tools and methods for identifying game anomalies, errors and cheating. Therefore impossible scores will be detected and instead we will post a score of 0 for the tournament entry. The player will get an error message displayed when the score is posted.
If QuizFortune determines that a game error was caused by the player and not due to a technical error, QuizFortune will void the tournament entry. When this is the case QuizFortune reserve the right to close an account and block the player from further access to the site. You can find more about this in the account rules.

How do I check the balance in my QuizFortune account?
Your account balance is always displayed at the top of the pages in the navigational header. This allows you to easily see how much money you have remaining in your account. If you want a more detailed view of your account transactions you can click on "My account" to go to the account pages. Choose the "Account statement" to get a detailed view of your transaction history. Here you can see all the tournament entry costs and prizes listed as well as any deposit or withdrawals you might have done.
I have forgotten my username and/or password
If you have forgotten your username or password, please use the send password function that you find in connection with the login box. You will need to enter the email address you registered with us when you signed up.
How do I change my email address?
In order to change your email address, you must do the following. Go to "My account" and from here you may change your email address by selecting "Change" email in the bottom right corner of the page.
Can I change my personal information?
You are free to change your password and email as you like, but you cannot change your username.
Can I change my username?
Unfortunately it isn't possible to change your username.
Do you sell my personal information?
No, we do not sell your email address or any of your personal information to any third parties. All information you give us will be treated confidentially.
Why am I denied access to my account?
Check to make sure that you have logged in with the correct username and password. If you have forgotten your password you can get it sent to your verified email address.
How do I change my password?
In order to change your password please go to "My account" and press the "Change password" button in the bottom right corner of the page.
Can I have more than one account?
No. Each player may open only one account, which must be individually used and funded. Multiple accounts created without our explicit consent will be immediately terminated, see our Terms and Conditions for more details on account termination. We reserve the right to terminate multiple accounts at our discretion should we feel that both accounts are being operated by a single individual or for any other violation of our Terms and Conditions. Any abuse of our multiple accounts or multiple use policy will result in the termination of all accounts and the permanent banning of each user from our site.

How do I post my score to the leaderboard?
At the completion of every quiz you will be provided with the opportunity to post your score to that particular leaderboard. In order to do this, simply click on the ‘post score’ link. You must be registered and logged in.
How do I share my score with my friends?
At the completion of every quiz you will be provided with the opportunity to share your score via Facebook, twitter and email. Simply select the icon of which option you wish you take. You can, of course, share your score across all three forums if you wish.
What do I do if I see abusive, illicit or offensive content?
Publishing abusive, offensive or illicit content on the website is a violation of QuizFortune Terms and Conditions. The content will be immediately removed and the offenders account may be closed down. If you see abusive content or receive abusive communication from another member please notify us here.
Payment:
How Do I receive my money?
Withdrawals will be sent to you by PayPal.
When making a withdrawal request for the first time, you will be asked to login to your PayPal account, or open a new PayPal account.
Technical help:
Depending on the speed of your Internet connection, you may experience a delay in downloading the games. Please be patient, for each game does not begin scoring or timing your play until the game is fully downloaded and you begin playing.
